What the inspection covers

1. Roofline. Soffits, fascia, eaves, vents, chimney — where climbers get in.
2. Walls and penetrations. Every pipe, wire, and line entering the house; siding gaps; utility boxes.
3. Foundation and crawlspace. Vents, access doors, sill plates, and the signs of what's already traveling underneath.
4. Attractants. Trash storage, feed and seed, fallen fruit, harborage — the ordinance's other half.
5. The report. Written findings with photos, a compliance checklist for your property, and a fixed quote. Yours to keep either way — it's your documentation.

Why it costs $49 and not $199

We're based outside Boise, so inspections run two days a week, stacked back to back across the valley — a full day of inspections on one trip instead of one house per trip. That route density is the saving, and we pass it on: it's how the inspection stays $49 and how small fixes stay cheap. When you book, we'll put you in the next run for your area and give you a tight arrival window.

Many common fixes — vent covers, a door sweep, sealing a penetration — can be done the same visit from the stocked truck, at the quoted price, with the $49 credited. Bigger carpentry gets scheduled into the next run.

After the inspection

Three ways it goes, all fine with us:
